Powering Sport with

Sustainable Energy

Sports clubs and leisure facilities are central to communities but are also highly energy‑intensive. High lighting, heating and hot‑water demands drive up costs and emissions. Tipperary Energy Agency helps sports clubs, leisure centres and swimming pools cut energy use, reduce running costs and create healthier, more sustainable facilities. As a not‑for‑profit, our advice is independent and outcome‑focused. We have extensive experience nationwide, including leading the transformation of Lahinch Leisure Centre into Ireland’s first NZEB leisure centre. Since then, we have been recognised as Ireland’s leader in Leisure Centre Retrofits and have worked with multiple municipalities and Local Authorities across Tipperary, Clare, Limerick, Kerry, Galway, Donegal and Sligo. From clubhouse upgrades to full leisure‑centre retrofits, we deliver proven impact.
