Communities with Clean Energy
Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon future depends on scaling up renewable energy generation and supply. At Tipperary Energy Agency (TEA), we help local authorities, community organisations and public bodies design, plan, and deliver renewable energy projects that cut emissions, strengthen local economies and build resilience.
From solar PV on schools and community centres to district heating for towns and public buildings, TEA ensures every renewable project is designed for maximum impact and long-term success.
Services
Since the agency was founded in 1998 our engineers have amassed extensive renewable energy project experience. The agency has supported Ireland’s first Community-Owned Wind Farm in Templederry, Tipperary. We have also implemented numerous biomass renewable heat projects in Tipperary County Council’s buildings. More recently, Tipperary Energy Agency has focussed on the design and introduction of heat pumps and solar photovoltaics as a method of eliminating fossil fuels in its facilities. Our Clients can be confident in the Renewable Energy experience of Tipperary Energy Agency through its turnkey service approach including initial Consultancy, Detailed Design, Public Procurement or Tendering, Project Management and Grant Coordination.
