Energy Solutions for
Healthcare Facilities
Healthcare buildings incur high energy costs. Hospitals, clinics and care facilities must run around the clock, with high demand for heating, lighting, ventilation and specialist equipment. Rising energy prices and carbon reduction targets place added pressure on the sector to improve efficiency without compromising patient comfort or safety.
At Tipperary Energy Agency (TEA), we help the health sector cut energy costs, reduce emissions and improve the performance of healthcare buildings. As a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, we deliver impartial expertise that ensures solutions are practical, compliant and future-ready.
We have successfully completed projects on a number of nursing homes, large hospitals and hospices throughout Munster. Works have included lighting, insulation, replacement of windows and doors, heat pumps and ventilation systems. Our most recent project in North Tipperary Hospice received 50% funding via SEAI’s Better Energy Communities Scheme.
