Empowering Communities to

Lead the Energy Transition

Communities are at the heart of Ireland’s clean energy transition. Across towns and villages, people are taking ownership of their energy use, from setting up Sustainable Energy Communities (SECs) to leading local renewable energy projects.

For over 25 years, Tipperary Energy Agency has led the energy transition from the grass-roots level, delivering energy awareness workshops, mentoring, grant coordination and turnkey project development and implementation. As a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, we provide independent expertise that ensures every community project is designed for impact and long-term benefit.

Our building services team has worked on numerous community buildings and facilities, large and small. From lighting upgrades to full retrofit support, we have helped to create warmer, healthier and more energy-efficient community spaces.
